Woodworks ( TECH ) 

These past 12 weeks i've been at Tech ( Woodworks ) Have been really good from the the time I stepped foot into these doors I wanted to leave but now I feel like staying here and making more things out of wood.I've learnt heaps In these past few weeks and I am really thankful for Mr. Thomas for teachiing me new things . 

I have also leanrt different kinds of tools used in the work shop such as Chisel,Mullet,Saw,Bench vice,Bench Hook and more.

Something I made in Woodworks was A Box that I can put supplies in when needed and special things,My box also has a J on the lid to show that it belongs to me .

I would just like to say a BIG THANKYOU to MR.THOMAS for taking time out of his day to keep up with us and teach us better things !!! :) THANKOUUUUUUU 

Auckland Museum.

Auckland Museum.
Two week sago most of our school went to the Auckland Museum,it was lots of fun we got to make necklace's and got to see different kinds of very old things from all of over the world. They were all in very very good shape but some of them we didn't get to touch but I was fine with that. when we went to the Museum we had two different groups Music & Dance and Tapa & Tivaivai I was in Music and Dance. In Music & Dance we got to learn about different kinds of sounds and where music came from it was fun and I really enjoyed it. Hopefully I can go again some other time because it was really interesting and different for me . Thank You!!!

This week we learnt how to do PLACE VALUE it was really fun and interesting when we found out how to do it,I had so much fun this week learning about PLACE VALUE with my teacher and student teacher !!!! 

CyberSmart

Today I did cybersmart it was so much fun,we had to pick someone out of our class and do the question it was really good :)

AUT Millennium .

Lastweek tuesday I got a free trip to millennium AUT it was really fun because i got to do 4 different activitey when i was there such as Kayaking,Water safety,Team Buliding and Rock climbing it was really fun that you guys for having us !!!

Today we had CROSS COUNTRY and we were totally exhausted,It was fun but we were tired most of the time well we were RUNNING, I put 100% efort into CROSS COUNTY today well RUNNING. But I had loads of FUN !!!! Can't wait for Next Year !

Mince Gravy with Potato Salad . 

Step 1 - Boil the potato until it is cooked .

Step 2 - Fry the mince with the onion add 1 cup of bisto and flour.

Step 3 - Serve with potato salad .

Butter Chicken 

Step 1 - Dice onion,Chicken.

-Fry until it is cook .

Step 2 - Add butter chicken sause,spices and cream .

- Stir for 10 mins and serve with rice .

- Than EAT

Step 1 - Dice Lettuce,Tomatoes 

Step 2 - Filling

Step 1- 1 1/2 Cup of Self Raising Flour 

Step 2 - 1/2 cup of sugar

Step 3 - 1/4 c of sugar

step 4 - 1/2 c of oil 

step 5 - 1/2 c of milk, egg

step 6 -2tbs of yogurt 

step 7 -   1 tsp vanilla essence

step 8 - mix well and 1 tbs each muffin

Step 1 - Whisk 4 eggs with 1 cup of milk Step 2 - Dice the Ham Step 3 - Add cheese Step 4 - Line up pastry into the muffin tray Final step - Tin and bake 180'c for 20 mins

On Tuesday the 30th of July Our year 5 - 8 Had a Positive Puberty program happening,We learnt about lots of different and weird things that we didn't that happen to our body.But it was fun !

Term 3 Week 1,Today we had a Science Fair,Each class made a science experiment 🧪.In my classroom we had 5 different science experiments and they were Rock candy (2 Groups had ),Lava lamps,Borax Crystal p,Icey bread sticks and Nebula Jars. I had so much fun with my group making our experiment and as a class we made Raro Blocks and they were so yum 😋 .

Step 1 - Peel The Kumara and Crate C cheese crater.

Step 2 - Whisk 4 eggs with 1 cup of Milk.

Step 3 - Mix with Kumara and pour into baking tin.

-Bake 180'C for 15-20 Minutes

Fiafia Day !

On Thursday 13th of June our senior school 

syndicate had a Fiafia day.The reason that we had the Fiafia day at school was because we didn't have enough time to do it at Camp Bentzon/Kawau Island,For Fiafia day we had groups that we would perform with.The Groups were Red - Red Dragons,Blue -Blue stingrays,Yellow - Yellow Panthers,Orange - Orange wolfs & best for last my amazing group Purple - Purple Jaguars . We had so much fun performing our chants & dances.
